The Program for Techno-Buzz 2019: 4-Day Program

A special invitation to all grade 11 learners with a vision of their future – come and take part in one of the most exciting opportunities of your school career – TECHNO-BUZZ 2019!

The objective of this multiple workshop and exhibition opportunity is to introduce learners to different colleges, workshops, technologies and universities with the aim of preparing them for a career in the 21^st century and the 4^th industrial revolution.

Dates: 18 – 21 June 2019

Time: 08h00 to 16:00

Place:  Bellville Technical High School

Lunch: Lunch will be provided

Dress Code: Civvies

• Technology workshops where the learners could get hands-on exposure to modern technology
• Introduction to different career and study opportunities.
• Presented by: WCED, the Engineering Schools of Stellenbosch University, UCT School of Civil Engineering, CPUT, Northlink College, Cape Town School of Engineering (CTSE), Automation Works (AW), Festo and Festo Didactic, Siemens, VEGA Instrumentation and New Cloud (NCA) Academy
• The Technology Winter School has been running for the past four years in Swellendam, as well as an extra one in 2018 at Northpine Technical High in Cape Town

• The FESTO Edutainer – a training system for Programmable Logic Controllers
• VEGA Instrumentation for the process industry
• NCA Laser Cutting
